Ethics
Virtual
assistance is a new concept, and it is only natural that there might be
questions concerning trust. Since your VA is not located in your office,
you may wonder how time is calculated, when the work will be completed,
will your information be held in confidentiality.
At Silent Partners Virtual Assistance Group, we adhere to
the Code of Ethics of the International
Virtual Assistants Association (see below).
This gives you the assurance that we are committed to a practice that
is based on honest relationships with our clients and integrity in all
matters.
We also use a time tracking program
(Time Trax) to verify the time we spend on each project for our clients.
It operates just like a time clock, allowing us to punch in
and out as we work on different projects. Time is automatically controlled
by the internal clock on our PC. Detailed reports with accurate hours
worked are then printed out and sent to the client with their invoice.
Before the start of each project, an estimate
of cost and time to completion will be given on each project.
We make every effort to complete all projects within the estimated time.
However, if the time for completion looks like it will run longer than
the original estimate, the client will be immediately contacted so that
options can be discussed.
